✂️ Background removal — matting bake-off

Cutting the character off its plate is the slow, quality-critical step. Same character (same graded still, Seedance at each res), same location, film grain OFF — only the alpha matte differs, so this is a clean read. Big number = matte wall-clock for the 5 s clip; grey = peak VRAM. Small inset = 2× hair-edge zoom. Click any clip to enlarge.
